Last night, I took some spare time between Christmas preparations to paint "Big Thoughts" from an old photo of my kitty Beignet. Within a few moments of posting it, I got a nice surprise: lots of feedback. At the moment it has thirteen comments and fifty-five favourites --  that's more than I've ever gotten for anything, and in such a short time! I can't thank everyone enough for your encouragement. You've all truly made my day. Merry Christmas!

Thank you for fav!
Unique gallery:) Amazing work:)
It's certainly unique. :) I'm trying very hard, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support. You've been truly kind! (By the way, your figurines are amazing!)
No problem, I like good art:) I invite you to my gallery:)Thank you :)
Thanks for the fave! I hope it's useful. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
No problem! I've been sifting through and collecting resources to teach myself how to draw and paint digitally (because I can't afford school.) I like how methodical your process for finding a skin tone is, especially because I am a complete beginner and don't have the natural sense that many tutorials assume that you have. So thank you!

(By the way, has anyone ever told you that you look like Craig Horner?)
Craig who? Is that a good thing? I'm all self taught myself, so I'm always scouting for good tutorials myself.
